Pricing, Refunds & Payments

How does the monthly subscription work?

When you subscribe, you’ll be charged on a monthly recurring basis. Your subscription renews automatically each month unless you cancel before the next billing date.

When will I be charged?

You can pay your monthly fee to our divorce plan after signing up. The fee will be on a monthly recurring basis and charged on the same date (every month) until you complete your divorce using our services. You can cancel your subscription anytime.

Can I get a refund?

No. The Complete Divorce does not offer any refunds because the program is already more affordable than most California services and offers a month-to-month subscription you can cancel anytime.

Are payments secure with The Complete Divorce?

Yes. We use Stripe, a trusted independent payment gateway. The Complete Divorce does not store your card details.

Do I need to enter my credit card info to sign up?

No. Credit card information is only required when you purchase the DIY Plan or divorce add-ons.

Will I get a refund if I cancel early?

No. Subscription fees are non-refundable.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

If you cancel your subscription your access to subscription features and the associated ‘divorce strategy meeting’ will also be canceled.

What payment methods do you use?

We accept credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and others) and digital payment platforms like PayPal and Stripe. All payments are processed securely through encrypted gateways.

Are court filing fees included in your subscription?

No. Court filing fees ($435–$450) are not included in the DIY plan, but we can facilitate payment to the court on your behalf.

Can I pause my subscription?

No. We do not currently offer a pause option. You may cancel and re-subscribe at any time.

Are there any hidden charges?

No. There are no hidden fees. You will only be charged the amount shown on the pricing page.

Will I receive an invoice or receipt?

Yes a receipt or invoice will be emailed to you after every successful payment. You can also download invoices from your account.

What happens if my payment fails?

If a payment fails we’ll automatically retry the charge. And you’ll also receive a notification to update your payment method. Your access may be temporarily restricted during payment process incompletion.

Yes, you can always get a standalone MSA or parenting plan for $100 and $150 respectively. We offer an MSA and comprehensive parenting plan for the entire USA, not just California.
