When you subscribe, you’ll be charged on a **monthly recurring basis**. Your subscription renews automatically each month unless you cancel before the next billing date. Can my spouse access the forms? Since it is a one-shared platform, so both spouses can use and access the forms on the secure divorce program and portal. When will I be charged? You can pay your monthly fee to our divorce plan after signing up. Will I get a refund if I cancel early? No. Subscription fees are **non-refundable** What happens if I cancel my subscription? If you cancel your subscription your access to subscription features and the associated ‘divorce strategy meeting’ will also be canceled. What payment methods do you use? We offer a variety of payment methods to our divorcing clients. These include credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and others) and digital payment platforms like PayPal and Stripe. We prioritize your security, ensuring all transactions are processed through encrypted payment gateways. Are court filing fees included in your FL-700 subscription? No, filing fees (of $435–450) are not included in our “The Complete Divorce” DIY plan. Rather you’ve to pay the fee separately from the subscription. No, filing a joint petition does not make the divorce final alone. But it just starts the case process and the rest of the process that involves completing forms and disclosures, and submitting a judgment follows from there. How long does an FL-700 joint petition take in California? The timeline would actually depend upon how you divorce (using the[ self-representation](https://thecompletedivorce.com/self-representing-divorce-california-things-to-know/) or [fully-assisted DIY divorce](https://thecompletedivorce.com/complete-online-divorce-in-california/)), completing forms, disclosures, and court backlogs. One important thing is that the 6 months waiting period will always be the part of your divorce, which starts from the joint filing date. Can domestic partners use FL-700? Yes. Registered domestic partners may use FL-700 if both agree on all issues. If applicable, the domestic partnership must be ended correctly. Selecting the wrong option can delay the case. Can my spouse be defaulted in an FL-700 joint divorce? No. Default is not possible with FL-700 because both spouses appear together. Default applies only to traditional cases using FL-100 and FL-120.
